Dr. Sophie Cadwallader, DIBCN
"No matter what happens... you always still have your birthday."
Dr. Sophie's chiropractic journey started when she was 4 minutes old. She was born with labored breathing & her dad, Dr. Rob (yes, that Dr. Rob) adjusted her & her breathing was restored to normal. While Dr. Sophie has held many roles in her parents' offices over the years - from flowing patients at 4 years old - to helping at our front desk during her summers off of school, she joins our practice for the final time as Dr. Sophie.
Dr. Sophie graduated from DeForest High School, then went on to study at Life University in Marietta, GA graduating with a degree in BioPsychology. After graduating from college, she wasn't sure where life would take her and at the time, she was bound and determined NOT to go on to Chiropractic School. After exploring several career path options, chiropractic called her home. She found herself visiting the campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona, Florida and choosing to follow in her parent's footsteps. She spent the next three years studying there while concurrently working on her Neurology Diplomate. Dr. Sophie's final internship was with a Neurology Clinic in Orlando, Florida which is sought out throughout the world by athletes and individuals seeking brain healing and re-training.
She tested and received her Neurology Diplomate in February of 2023.
Dr. Sophie's passion lies in the brain. She has always been fascinated by how it worked and how similar things affected certain individuals differently. While her doctorate is a Chiropractor, Dr. Sophie heads up our Neurology Department at Pro Health. She takes care of patients with balance issues, traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion symptoms, sporting injuries, post-stroke symptoms, and so much more!
When Dr. Sophie isn't in the clinic, you can find her working out, hiking, enjoying time outdoors, and spending quality time with her dog, Juniper Berry (Juni).
Fun Facts:
She's a national powerlifting record holder
If she were a superhero her superpower would be breathing under water.
If she won the lottery tomorrow - she would move to Florida and open a dolphin brain rehabilitation program.
